Page 3 of Painting 

I took off from work today and made a stop by the bodyshop to see what was going on and if I could help.  Mark was working on the plane so I stayed around and helped wet sand the top in preparation for the final coat of paint on the fuselage..  Then it was mask everything off and Steve shot a light coat of primer and then the RED basecoat and clearcoat finish.

The picture that shows Steve spraying the front deck is a more realistic representation of the actual color.  Don't really know what happened to the next three pictures but they don't show the color as well.

(2/19/2004)  Added three pictures with the tail painted.  The next step is to add the gray stripe and the registration numbers then the stripes to the horizontal stab.  Looking good....(:
